Founded in 2021, the company was established to explore purchasing St Margaret's Church Hall in Bramley with the aim of making the building a community arts centre.

Our Work

 Following the success of the Leeds Year of Culture 2023; Cultural Collective, the company has continued to host an annual arts festival in the ward.

About Bramley Community Arts

Following the success of the Leeds 2023 Year of Culture; Producer and Director Dean Patrick has continued to develop the Bramley and Stanningley Cultural Collective into an annual weekend Arts Festival. The ward's first-ever micro arts festival saw over 1000 people attend events across Bramley Baths, Trinity Methodist Church and Bramley Villagers Club (in one day). The weekend continues to work with local venues to bring together and engage with community groups and charities from the area.

Saturday 16 May 


BRAMLEY BATHS


Teddy Bear Party 10:30am-12:30pm

Come join Goldilocks and the Bears for music, story-time, face-painting and craft. 


Bramley Mermaids Performances 12:40pm. The Mermaids’ performance in the pool to the song Bohemian Rhapsody is set to be epic!


TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH: 2pm-4pm


Groups attending the Open Afternoon include:

BARCA Men’s Health Unlocked [Art], Bramley Elderly Action, Fun with Words [Poetry], Creative Communities [Craft], Friends of Bramley Park [Gardening], Friends of Photography & West Leeds Dispatch, Hookers & Clickers [Craft], Incredible Edible Bramley & Friends of Bramley Park [Growing Food], Leeds Young Creatives [Singing & Drama], Fanfare for the Makers [Craft], BARCA Kitchen Station [Cooking], Christ the King Primary School [Artwork]


There will be performances from groups such as:

String of Beads Ladies Choir & DAZL Dancers


Sunday 17 May 


BRAMLEY VILLAGERS CLUB: 4pm-7pm


A community concert featuring performances from groups such as:

Bramley Parish Theatre Players, Class Act Youth Theatre, Leeds Young Creatives, Ukulele Shape Shifters and Vivo Jazz Band.
